Bochenski was still kicking around, man, what a bust.

Eh, hard to be disappointed in a 7th round, 223rd over-all pick not sticking in the NHL.

He certainly was a poster-child for pre-season success not carrying over into the regular season, though.

I guess that was where I was going with my post, played really well with Spezz in the pre-season, but nothing after that, he made it further than Daigle at least.

Daigle had a couple of good seasons with Ottawa before the goalpost busted him up pretty bad. He had blazing speed and decent hands, what he lacked was a desire to get better. Obviously hockey wasn't his priority, which it should have been. His hollywood dreams crumbled pretty quickly, and he was back in hockey. In Europe anyway.

He had a much better career than Bochenski.

Hockey came way too easily to the guy early on. I think Spezza suffered from the same syndrome a bit as well, but has really, really turned it around in that regard. I don't know if there's a player on the team that's improved more since the lock-out.

Very good and fair assessment of the Daigle. A rare bird among Ottawa fans.

so coming back to schremp. what's his contract like? would a team be able to place him on their AHL affiliate or does he have to stay up in the NHL?(1 way or 2?)
if it's 2 ways i would think he'd be worth it. the guy is deffinetely full of himself but eh? he's got skills.

I find it pretty hard to believe you wouldn't look at tits, because as Ron White says, if you seen one set of em, you want to see the rest of them. Rob Schremp waived - Page 3 668437

The Isles have put in a waiver claim on Schremp:

I wonder if Schubie made it through... deadline is 2 mins away.

Good for the Isles. Seriously, this is a good player who needs to get the Diddle away from the dead zone of Edmonton. He'll get a 2nd chance with a crappy Isles team that has need for skill and speed. Let's see how they fair.

Schubert can't clear...can he? No one has use for a 4th line grinder who can also 'play' D?

Diddle, his number are fantastic all the way through. Why did he not get a chance?

I think he meant Schubie. The two have been discussed in this thread...
