I'm thinking you're right.

the only other possibility is a trade has been agreed to where we're getting back a goalie for bongo....

Very confusing stuff I don't think he needs to be placed on waivers to be sent back down, he's on a 2 way if I'm not mistaken...or maybe he's on a 1 way AHL deal. No idea.

On another note, Chiodo is rated an 82 in the NHL10 game. Nutty! I'm going to have to call him up for a few games.

I would strongly suggest no one claim our AHL goalie on waivers. Murray has a bit of a vindictive streak and you'll find that he'll do the same to you at some point.

Yes he does have to clear waivers, as did about 4 others...Bannister, St. Pierre etc and they all cleared on Tuesday or Monday I believe

I think this domino is linked to Kelly to NJD. Perhaps Lou wants to reunite the Brodeur brothers?

more to come...

Yeah, it's in the CBA. I updated my original post with the details.

Ya, this is about as big a non issue as there is.

He isnt an NHL goaltender but neither was Neil Little. Still an asset to Bingo for sure.

So that means we need to call him up to play a game so that he can go back and forth without the necessity of waivers. The Dung thing is that he'll have to clear waivers on the way up as I understand the rule.

There's no way he gets claimed. Unless I misunderstood, if a team claimed him, they'd have to put him in for at least one NHl game before sending him down. No team would do that...not for this goalie.

Geez, when I first read the heading I thought they were making room for Lehner or something.

OK, still, if Leclaire or Elliott is injured, who is our best option for an emergency call-up?

Brodeur would be I guess... or Chiodo as was mentioned. Lehner will be with the Soo... can calls-ups be made from there?
