GM Hockey Fantasy Pool Round 15!!!!!

This is some bullsh!t.

He should be automatically assigned someone if he doesn't select by the end of today. Holding up this Dung because he wants to see if someone signs is challenged.

Why dont we just skip Blazer and he can pick last. This is stupid.

What made him think this was a good idea?

guys, im just waiting to see what happens to Afinogenov. I would be glad to pick someone else with the caveat that nobody picks him ... what do you guys say?

I'm picking D...but seeing as he'll probably either get signed or go KHL within a couple of days...I'm okay with it.

I would suggest that Blazer PM his "backup" pick or vise versa to TUK. if he's not signed by Thursday to an NHL team, the backup is it...in the meantime we can move on...

thing is i was told (see earlier in the thread) that I cannot switch my pick if a player goes to khl...

yeah i say let blazer pick A/B if A goes to the KHL then he gets B if not he stays with A. It as been said that at this point it is all a gamble to lose out on one player would not destroy someones team. i think we let him do this and we can move on and finish this thing up

but i think we give it a limit say if he hasnt signed by thursday then he gets player B i think this would be reasonable to both Blazer and to the rest trying to get this all set up

Thats ridiculous. I 100% don't back this a/b idea. Every pick is a gamble. If you want to take Afinogenov, then live with whatever happens. There are other players out there who can and will equal his output this season.

Why is it that you should be allowed to do this and none of us can?

If you do this, then I change my Rozsival pick to Forsberg/Rozsival.

I agree. Your pick is your pick. Should who ever picked Gaborik get to change it because he goes out with injury? If you pick a guy, he's your pick, no changing it.

i am just throwing out suggestions to try and get this done we could do what blazer said and just count afiniganov out and he will pick someone else i don't know i just am trying to help get this done

I appreciate the intent, but if someone else wants to pick Afinogenov after blazer picks someone else, then they are allowed to pick Afinogenov.

If he wants him, he takes him. If he doesn't, he takes who he takes and we move on.

Exactly. All pools centre around the unknown. If you think Gabo or Salo are due for a healthy year, then you take them. If not, you pass. Likewise, if you think Afinogenov or Forsberg are bound to sign with an NHL team at some point, then you take them. If not, you take someone else and stop holding up the proceedings.

This is pretty Diddling selfish, blazer. People have Dung to do and the last thing I want to do is keep watching this pool thread for another minute, let alone a day, let along a week. If you don't pick today, we will move on and you can make your last selection whenever the hell you please.

I think that's a capital suggestion. Brilliant, exactly what we should do. Same for future drafts, if someone wants to defer, they are welcome to wait until the end of the round.

That said, someone picking later could take Afinogenov if he wants to take a chance, so Blazer is not guaranteed his pick.

I don't like the a/b idea, but I'm OK with letting Blazer pick after Cap'n Clutch. And if Afinogenov signs real soon and Marakh takes him, then that's the chance you take.

Pick or wait until the end of the round.

i do have bluewhiteandgolfs pick so if blazer makes a decision and marakh picks i can give his
