Good point. I didn't think of it like that, but they definitely did stick to the system. (A few new tweaks to the system, I saw too...The D were pinching in some unique ways.)

If he's wearing one next time we see him, then yeah. For now, it's still hard to say.

As much as this is a preseason game, and it shouldn't mean anything..... Our roster was Faaaaarrr superior to Florida's, We definitely should have slammed them hard......
Definitely a little disappointed our offense wasn't a little more powerful...

I'm personally very surprised it wasn't a total domination on the Sens part considering the mis-match on paper.

For now I will simply chalk it up to the fact that it's just pre-season and I won't read anything more into it than that.

There was real rust and unfamiliarity with the players, which is to be expected. Had a bird's eye view and Karlsson was most impressive.

Spezza better watch the game tape, because the old habits were back last night.

Elliott was stupendous. Brodeur has the strangest style I think I've ever seen and he's not that good either.

I wasn't overly surprised. For whatever reason, the Panthers know how to beat us. They dominated us last year, going 3-1 in the series against us. Although the fact that we only put up a total of 2 goals in these two games does worry me a tad.

Yeah, I think we hyped this up a lot more than we should have. The team is still adjusting and it's pre-season.

San Jose plays LA in pre-season action tonight... if anyone cares.

meh it is only preseason, won't be too worried, was happy to see the fire under the team/coaches a$$ when spezza's goal was waved off, last year I have the feeling they just wouldn't of cared (minus Clouston that is, he was livid)
