I wonder if something happened in his personal life. When Muckler gave him that four year deal i thought it was a fantastic move. He was the best player on the boards I'd ever seen, and had a solid 2way game to boot. Good chemistry with Fisher and Alfie.

You're dislike of Fisher is really getting old. I personally have much more faith in Cheechoo and Kovalev's abilities to play the game to let any perceived, or otherwise, shortcomings of the centerman they have to play with, affect there abililty to play well.

The FFS line was our best line after Clouston arrived. Fisher was a part of that, plain and simple. If he could be part of a productive line with Foligno and Shannon on his wings, he should be able to somehow manage with Alfie/Kovalev and Michalek/Cheechoo on his wings.

You're right he's spent season after no wait months and...no Game after game...oh right he did have some shifts with quality wingers for a while so I can see where you'd think that.

Unless you count Alfredsson and Stillman. But I see your point. As I said, I made a terrible mistake shortchanging Fisher. Please forgive me.

Fisher doesnt drag down anyone... never has. Is he a band-aid, kinda. Is in inconsistant, maybe. Is he frustrating to watch, at times. Does he drag others down...? Not that I remember.

I'll believe it when I see it. Fisher drags players down when they don't produce around him. When they do produce - As in the FFS line then Fisher is simply benefiting from being on the line with Foligno and Shannon right?
