It's a longshot, but I wish him the best. As a Flames fan back in the 80's until the Sens came to town, I've always had a soft spot for Theo. He's beaten the odds in his career before. Here's hoping he can do it again.

Consider me a skeptic, then. Although I think I'm simply being a realist. There's not a hope in hell of anyone giving this guy a chance other than Calgary, and only if they need to fill seats. The economy has been good to Alberta recently, so I don't think they have a need for that.

Maybe as a coach/motivational speaker, steering the young away from the evils of excess. He's a little short to be Chris Farley, but, yeah, that's what I'm driving at.
