What video game are you playing?

I'm playing the games in the AHL right now, so I haven't got to the off-season. That'll be interesting.

Only cost me $65, arrived at my door this morning.



Played a lot of eashl so far, no club games yet.....Riprock.......

Also ready to jump into some Be a GM mode online. Putting madden aside for now.

The ratings (particularly for prospects) are totally borked again, but no surprise there...just disappointing. For example, Silfverberg seemed to be rated pretty low, with not much "potential"...Z-Bad was similar, so was Lehner. The have Lehner and Bishop rated at 74 and 73 respectively, with not much "potential"...for comparison, Auld gets a 77 or 78 rating (working from memory here).

Getting swamped with injuries in my first season...Latendresse just went down for 3 months with a concussion...DOH!

I find the skating feels really clunky, but I'm selling it to myself that it's more "realistic" than the arcade-y feel from years past. One thing is certainly more evident - it's easier to blow by defenders with speedy players if you get a step on them.

Yeah, I'm sitting Silfverberg right now, he's not good enough. Zibanejad is a 69, but with good potential and leads Bingo in goals right now. But yeah, I was disappointed with Silf and Zibanejad.

I don't really understand the potential thing. Lehner gets a 3 1/2 star potential I think...ZIbanejad the same. Not really sure yet what that really means. I'll wait until they re-rate.

If you go down further into the CHL guys, players like Noesen, Prince, Ceci, Pageau, etc, all have borked ratings too. I'll reserve final judgement until I'm a few years into my league and I see how these guys progress....but for now, it doesn't look promising.

Yeah, I had to sit Pageau as well. He's not very good either.

I hope this corrects itself as I go farther into it..

Not me. I bought a Wii and don't use it very much, so we'll pass.
