What Should Bryan Murray Do About Dany Heatley?

If Heatley wants to think he runs the show, Murray would have my full support in doing whatever it took to show him otherwise.

I still think at the end of the day that we'll get a better package for Heatley if we let teams simmer in their UFA losses.
SpezDispenser wrote:I dunno. I still think a team like LA or even Minny might make a play for him. Maybe even SJ. There are teams that have stayed the status quo (essentially) and haven't gotten better, while everyone else around them has added players.
At some point Plan D starts looking pretty good. And that Plan D is Heatley. cool)

Well, we can only hope that's the case.
But there is a good chance this could become an all out war between management and Healtey's camp. The final say always comes down to Heatley so he could just keep rejecting deals until he gets traded to a team he likes. I'd like to think the best will happen but the way things have gone so far tells me things will not go smoothly and this is only the beginning of a long summer.
