The Jays, on the other hand, will not be OK. I think Romero lasted one out last night before getting yanked in the 1st.

The players on the list, like melky cabrera and Arod, did test positive. They must have some more incriminating evidence though to make this decision.

If the players tested positive, would they not already have been suspended? And if they were already suspended, they surely can't be suspended AGAIN for the same infraction?
I obviously still don't understand what's going on here. I read this article: http://www.tsn.ca/blogs/scott_macarthur/?id=424840 , and it states:
"Weiner (Executive Director of the MLBPA) has said the players' union is committed to ridding the game of illegal substances but it will likely take umbrage if baseball attempts to suspend players on the testimony of Bosch and without a positive drug test."
And for guys like Cabrera, they already served their suspensions for using drugs.

I would imagine that their may be some documentation somewhere at Biogenesis that is now in the hands of MLB.tim1_2 wrote:Michallica wrote:I agreed with you, that's why I said there must be some more evidence that's surfaced indicating further usage or perjury, or whatever.
All that seems to have "surfaced" is testimony from the scuzzy clinic owner. We'll wait and see I guess, but if they try to suspend a player solely off some guy saying "yep, that player took drugs" then I can't see this going anywhere.
