Are the Canes doing to the Bs what they did to the Devs?

it really looks like it i thought the bs would be more difficult to shut down with 7 players with 20 goals in the reg season but the canes are good at what they are doing and ward is playing like he did last time they won the cup

Whodathunk it? I thought this one was an in-the-bag-er for Boston.

Canes coach Paul Maurice summed it up in his postgame presser: "If we play the way we did tonight, we have a chance to take every game to overtime."

Reminds me of a favorite line from Arrested Development. If you're a fan, it was the episode where Jusine Bateman (Jason's sister) guest starred. If not, it would take too long to explain.

agreed DTR, it is definitely nice when Carolina scores, am sure the cameramen are tuned in on the ice girls as soon as it happens lol. and for the record, that was Jokinen's 3rd big goal of the playoffs, I believe he scored the tying goal in game 7 against Jersey. got to love those unsung heroes

Cap'n Clutch looks smart again Smile Take a look at this quote from the round 1 series Canes vs. Devils thread.

Cap'n Clutch on Mon 27 Apr 2009 - 8:49

I had Devils in 6 as well I think. I still can't bet against the Devils at home in a game 7. I will say that if the Canes make it to round 2 look out because I think they make it to the Finals.

Check out this other quote from the Will San Jose Win it all thread.

Cap'n Clutch on Mon 1 Dec 2008 - 9:55

Anyone think San Jose is for real this year? They've performed well in the regular season for a few years now but it has yet to translate into success in the playoffs. They're off to an incredible start and could very likely take the President's Tropy this season. We all know what that's worth right?

I know I'm not putting any money down on SJ winning it all this season regardless of how well they're playing this season. How about you guys?

So Big Z can't clear the zone and it results in the game winning goal in OT by Jussi.
