According to Dredger, Suter kicked tires for Auld but unfortunately neither he or Murray could make something work due to the Salary Cap issues. I'm guessing Murray wanted a prospect and Suter was offering a roster player....Hmmmm but who?

Vandermeer makes 2.3 million or something ridiculous like that - and he's got 2 more years I think. That is a bad, bad, bad, bad contract.
Perhaps we can expand the deal to include a pick, but even then, do you want to pay him that much $$?
