Maybe Schubert, Lee, and Spezza kinda thing. Anyways, Senschirp has proven to know close to nothing, so take it with a big a$s grain of salt.
Senschirp used to be really good but it seems like he lost his touch. In the past he called some major trades before they even happened. It's just a rumor though, he's not saying anything is set in stone.
Well, there are rumours and there are rumours.
Bruce Garrioch and Eklund deal in rumours most of which have no relation to anything except their fertile imaginations.
The subject is interesting, but the members here have discussed a variety of options regarding Spezza, with far more substance.
The main issue with trading someone like him--especially now--is that, pure and simple, GMs may be reluctant to take on massive multi-year contracts.
Bryan Murray may want to trade Spezza...and several times this past season, he implied he was trying to do so, but didn't find any takers. He also sent all kinds of mixed messages about Spezza, so who knows what he's thinking.
What SensChirp is saying in that blog is nothing we haven't heard before, but that doesn't mean it isn't an intriguing thought.
However, there doesn't seem to have been much thought put into the consideration of the realities attached.
You can dream about trading anybody. Doesn't mean it's feasible or possible.
