We all know they base it on Offense and Green was far and away the best Offensive D man. I don't agree with it but I think they give it to Green. You really can't go wrong with either Lidstrom or Chara though.

It's not that simple. Essentially, Lidstrom has been the only thing getting in the way of a Norris for Chara. It's Chara's time. Green won't even be considered.

Agreed, Chara has paid his dues, Lidstrom has had his share of accolades already, and well, Green, it's too soon for him.

Yeah i dunno seawan, in an age of offensive defenseman, he got i think over 30 goals this year, and broke a goal streak record as well ....
