I went for SJ, Columbus, St Louis, and Calgary, and well, these choices, I really could be taking a lot of heat for, 3 underdogs if you will. SJ is a no brainer much like boston, better in every way than Anaheim. The Columbus choice is kind of based on wanting to see Vermette do well, but also based on Hitch's coaching prowess, yes it is the monster in Detroit, but Osgood doesn't look unbeatable this year, Columbus has to get to him early and ruin his confidence. As for St. Louis, that's just a team that is wanting to surprise everyone, they probably know nobody gives them a chance against Vancouver, and that can make them very dangerous. They are a well coached club with good talent and a great work ethic. As for Calgary, its based a lot on wanting to see one canadian team make it past the 1st round, the 2nd being for Jokinen in his first playoff run, but that team will live or die by Kipper's goaltending.
