Who will win - in how many games - and why?

Ahhhhh!

Hate the Rags, but I think they can pull this out. I just don't trust Washington's goaltending, and when you combine that with the fact that some pretty key guys on the Caps (Ovechkin, Semin, Green) are not great in their own zone, that could be a problem.

Lundqvist is such a huge advantage for the Rags.

That said, if they can't roll their lines in a way to avoid an Ovechkin v Redden match-up, they'll run into problems.

Rangers in 6... Lundqvist vs Theodore is the key. Ovechkin and company need to be too good for them to survive with Theo.

Theodore absolutely blows but I think Washington can still outscore the
Rangers. I can't stand the Rangers team at all this year.
They've ruined themselves for years to come.

I think this one's a slam dunk personally, but I really don't care either way.

How in the world are the Rangers gonna contain that kind of firepower? It's coming at you in all shapes and sizes.

The only chance the Rangers have will be if Lundqvist is absolutely at the very peak of his game - and then I still don't see much of a chance.

The Rangers struggle to score at the best of times, the Caps won't let them get to close to Theodore (who sucks very badly BTW).

Caps in 5 (I'm giving Lundqvist one game here).

How will the Caps react to The Seanster?

Which Jose Theodore shows up?

How does John Tortorella's Cup winning experience factor in?

Is Ovie the complete player in the playoffs?

Can Lundqvist be The King?

Could be an upset...in seven...for the Manhattan Mob.

This one has my mouth watering. This is going to be one entertaining series. High powered offence vs. King Henrik

I believe OV and company will prevail, but not before Henrik takes his bite out of them. Caps in 7

I don't know why... but I've got a feeling the Rags take this one in 7.

Caps in 7. If not for Theodore, I'd have said Caps in 4 or 5.

Edit: Phew, this was the last of the 8.

It comes down to Theodore vs King Henry

+ Avery will easily distract Theo...

Not to offend the offense, but defense and goaltending win championships.

"If not for Theodore..." these words cut both ways.

And Il Capo Gianni Tortorella has declared the Omerta...The Seanster is his emissary.

These are not the Renneygades who were reeling...this is the Manhattan Mob.

They will use whatever means necessary to depose Alexander the GR8.

Marc Stall and Ovie have a feud going.

What a series.

Caps in 6, their only big deterrant is Theodore, however, their offense will prove just too great for the Rangers, another first round exit for Redden again.

Redden has never missed the playoffs. Though he will wish he had by the time this one is over.

Washington in 5. Lundqvist steals one, but that's it. Avery brings a new level of shame to the league by the 2nd period of game 2.
