It's a lot harder than you think.

This is the best I can do:

Heatley - Spezza - Alfredsson
Vermette - Fisher - Winchester
Donovan/McAmmond - Kelly - Foligno
Ruutu - Bass - Neil

Spare: one of Bass, McAmmond, Donovan, Zubov, Nikulin

Zubov's gonna have a hard time making the team, while Nikulin has like 3% chance.

Phillips - Volchenkov
Lee - Kuba
Smith - Picard

with Schubert on the pine I guess.

Good luck...it's hard.

F2-Foligno-Vermette-Alfredsson
F3-Kelly-Winchester-Zubov/Donovon
Checking Line-Ruutu - Bass - Neil

Scratches- McAmmond(hopefully traded to a young team), and Zubov/Donovon

D1-Phillips-Lee
D2-Volchenkov-Picard
D3-Smith-Kuba

Scratches-Schubert, Nycholat(Probably traded)

SG-Elliot
BG-Auld

Scratches- Gerber(traded to Colorado)

It is tough 8) I can do the lineup in so many different ways that would satisfy me, but I'll go with this:
Heatley - Spezza - Alfredsson
Foligno - Fisher - Winchester
Vermette - Kelly - Donovan
Ruutu - Bass - Neil

Volchenkov - Kuba
Phillips - Smith
Lee - Schubert
Picard (because I really have no idea what Murray has in mind for the 6th spot)

Gerber
Auld

but I also like this:

Vermette - Spezza - Alfredsson
Heatley - Fisher - Winchester (reminds me of Heatley/Getzlaf/Nash...sort of)
Ruutu - Kelly - Donovan
Foligno - Bass - Neil

Phillips - Kuba
Volchenkov - Lee
Smith - Picard
Schubert (again: I'm clueless)

Gerber
Auld

Looking at that ^ I think I would take the forward group from the 1st setup and the D-corps from the 2nd setup and that would be my ideal.

he's a good player, but there's too many players in his mold

His Mold?

name another 6'3 player who can play both forward and defenceman in the same game, can shoot 100mph, hit like he does and for his size skate fast. who cost under a mil for the next 2 years

Scooby is hardly a fast skater, and price should have nothing to do with a mold. how about mike komiserik? Anton Volchenkov? Chris phillips?
