IF Tyler Bozak comes to Ottawa

I'd do a deal revolving around Brent Burns and Jason Spezza.

Oh boy did this Post get off track like the Sens Season. Here is hoping that Murray can get an asset in Bozak to add to our depth.

Bozak might play a way bigger role in Ottawa next year then people actually think.

Big changes are coming, there is no reason to stick with the top end guys we have now. They have been failures since signing their conracts and the money we have invested is in the wrong spot.

Murray will build this team the right way.

Personally I'd take Tuebert and Hickey plus their 1st for Heater..

Hickey has more offensive upside than a lot of people give him credit for, and we already know what kind of a shut down tandem they can be together...having those 2 guys as your 5/6 right now would be awesome.

I would take the two of those guys and their 1st before you could say Jack Rabbit.

Here is what I would love to see Murray do and I don't know how long it will take to acheive this.

Alfie - Spezza - (Mystery Top Six)

Foligno - Bozak - Shannon

Ruutu - Fisher (with PP and PK time) - Regin

Donovan - Bass - Winchester

(Mystery Stud PMD) - Kuba

Phillips - Volchie

Campoli - Bell

Leclaire

Elliott

It's funny, but we've had it drilled in our heads so much that we need PMDs that we seem to be forgetting that we locked up Kuba and added Campoli. There are 4 spots spoken for on the D already, plus Smith making north of 2 million bucks. I'd be surprised to see a big deal for a defenseman.

For a young D man (prospect), I can def see it. Kuba has been signed to fill a void while things get straightend out.

When are we expected to hear Bozak's decision?

I thought it was supposed to be by weeks end. Im pretty sure Toronto is out of it because they just signed Hanson...

I think there is a great possibility he is here next year.

Burke has been saying they're still in it.

The whoe reason Anahiem won the cup 2 years ago is because of all these college signings Murray made.

McDonald is a perfect example. A UFA signing from the NCAA that was the number 1 center on the cup winning Ducks.

Was this more of a West-Coast thing to do? Seriously, before Murray signed Winchester, I don't really remember there being much noise made about late-in-the-season NCAA signings... or maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

Its a Murray thing to do. He has his scouting staff all over the US looking at these kids in school. Thats why so many teams are now taking chances on college kids in the late rounds because of the time they have to develope.

Murray might be the best GM in the league in terms of getting NCAA tallent signed.

Clouston's probably quite against it. Fisher can't hit the broad side of a barn. What a waste of Spezza's skill. At least Alfie can score.

Now is the time to experiment with line combos. Wins or losses won't change the fact they're not making the playoffs so see what works.
