I think our goaltending is fine for now.

Agreed. And if you look at the peanuts we look to be spending on goaltending and defence next season, we could potentially have the space to make a play for JayBo.

Who knows, Murray has to deal with one thing at a time. Right now its the deadline, then its what to do with Spezza.

3 games ago it was all about Heatley. Now suddenly three good games from him and three poor ones from Spezza and it's back to Spezza?

Heatley is the highest paid player in hockey this season.

Dude, Im all over Heatley too, but he really isnt the focus of the team. He has an NTC and word from a few people is he has asked to be moved come the end of the season... thats just hear say, but interesting.

This team was 100% supposed to be built around Spezza, but he has def been the biggest disapointment this year.

Fair enough. I haven't seen him enough for a long term eval. With the right coaching you can work that out of him. Just ask Spezza... oh whoops.

j/k I do like Spezza deep down. Some nights it is just deeper than others.

That's what she said Razz

Well I got home in time to watch the third. By then it seemed that the Sens were awake. They didn't look like a team that would go down 4-0 early on, but I know better!

47 shots, well that shows that we had some puck control. I agree with MOI that some good things seem to be in place now. If you asked me if we need an overhaul or tweaking I would side on tweaking.

Campoli has me excited. He was fast and he looked dangerous on the PP. He also turned the puck over in the neutral zone on a cross ice pass on the powerplay, so he fits in well here haha.

Even if Murray had no other deals on the way I would be interested in watching this team figure things out (although one could argue that they've had a calander year). I'm sure he does though, so I'm excited for that.

I'm happy that we haven't won enough to hurt our draft position too much. Should be an entertaining finish to the season considering the circumstances.

What part of this finish do you think will be most entertaining, apart from the Hilary and Carrie sightings?

In no particular order....

Watching new players (Campoli and Comrie so far) play, and 'old' players players continue to play under a new coach.

Deadline day.

Matchups against playoff teams and bubble teams who have played better over the course of the season but might not beat the Sens as they approach the playoffs.

The Hedman sweepstakes.

Happy belated birthday... I was pretty sure you were only a year older than me, then i noticed, hey, he's not a year older, unlesssss... And there ya go.

Draft day should be exciting...

And also hopefully watching the Leafs pushing for a playoff spot, but falling short, and Montreal fighting to stay in the playoffs, but losing out on it on the last game. That will be exciting!

Thank you, wow that was observant. It was on Friday. I will be soooo happy if the Leafs and Habs fall short with a brutal pick to boot haha.

Good day for Tank Nation. Carolina and Tampa both win. Leafs leading the Rags in the third. Oscars await on the PVR. Time for some Hollywood Glitter (even though I haven't seen any of the nominated films).

I think the Rangers are a total train-wreck.

Those huge contracts are going to be incredibly difficult to move, but they're good enough to not get top-end talent at the draft.

Renney may be gone soon, but I don't know what you can seriously expect with that blue-line and lack of scoring depth.

I want to find my comment in October where I said the Rangers might not make the playoffs, haha.

I didnt think the Sens could finish behind the Leafs though, at this point, finishing behind Atlanta isnt even out of the question.
