Gretzky's salary

Millard and Kypreos were discussing Gretkzy's salary on HC @ Noon today and Kypreos mentioned he's making $2.25M with $3M deferred.

Nice salary.

I was wondering the other day what some of the other "new" NHL coaches were making. I guess Gretzky is a bit of an exception as he's part of the ownership as well.

I think Hartsburg was making 1.5m. I remember when they were talking about an elite coach coming here it would be more than that though, like 2-2.5mil range. I'm sure Wang makes big dollars, guys like Keenan, Quenneville, Wilson, etc- the guys that have been around a while probably match that
