Instead of being an idiot, or a quitter, or whatever it is that his problem is, why doesn't he try playing a full 60 minutes.

Dude, did Heater just do something I missed?!

I mean, he's sucked for 2 periods, for sure, but did I just miss something?

Nothing overly special... mostly the kind of stuff we should expect from him; he's engaging in the play, getting to loose pucks. He looks like he wants to play hockey.

edit: If his play through periods 1 and 2 were even close to his play in period 3, I don't think the last 20 minutes would be spent discussing what a bum he's been lately.

I mean, the Habs are riddled with injuries and if Price the 'savior' was in nets this game would NEVER have been as close." bla bla bla...

YOu know IF we win, and that is still a big IF, Habs fans will be trolling the internet saying how we beat the Hamilton Bulldogs...

o.k. o.k. I know I'm a hypocrite, but can I change my vote to Keeping Spezza!?!? LOL

I just wish he would play with that kind of heart ALL the time...

I want to keep Neil too... They only showed it briefly, but he was first out there to greet Elliott after the Lapierre shootout goal... He also had some dandy hits...

So true, which is why I'm glad we hardcore Sens fans have this as our home and NOT that 'other' place which will be FILLED with the usual Hab trolls and vitriol...

So rebound control and shoot-outs are where Elliot should begin in practice.

All in all, pretty good start to his NHL career though.

my hand is down...

Luongo he is not. But I think he's developed all he's going to in the AHL and it's time he get some real NHL experience.

He's still a rookie, I don't expect miracles from him. He made some nice saves tonight.

My hand is also down... He let in one softy, but bailed us out numerous times, making some terrific saves in key situations.

That being said, I still want to send him back down. First of all because he deserves to play in the AHL All Star Game... and Secondly, because I don't want to win anymore games.

Well its not a win, but at least they got one point. They've got one more game to prove they have what it takes. Anything less than a W on Tuesday and its over.

My hand is definitely up. I was convinced Elliott's last outing was a result of the travel and the back-to-back, but he was significantly bad tonight. That Lalime-esque goal in the 3rd was just painful to watch. He's either going to rebound from these last two games and put in a fantastic effort on Tuesday or my hand will be locked in the air.

OK... Elliott needs to work on the shootout. Heh heh.

Tough loss - nice come back. They really put it on at the end there. Would have been nice to take it in regulation. But, it is what it is.

3 point games... here we go...
