Some guy called in to Team 1200 during the post game show and said that while he was watching the game that Elliott reminded him of someone. He seached Youtube for Belfour and was surprised at how much them seemed alike. I think I am the only one at SBP with an Elliott jersey. This guy is the real deal.

It's actually scary how alike they look.

Holy Dung, that's crazy.

Uncanny. This is from ESPN's "Inside College Hockey Chat", December 2005:
http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/chatESPN?event_id=10014

John (Milwaukee, WI): What goalies do you admire or model your style after?

Brian Elliott: I definitely have admired and tried to imitate Ed Belfour my entire life. I love to take aspects of a lot of different goalies and try to take certain things they do and put them into my game to be a more complete goaltender.

That explains a considerable amount.

I would say Vermette is definitely playing center and maybe 2nd line. He took the first draw in the game yesterday (and more than Fisher overall) and he just took the second draw now. Second line, right?

Man it would be tough to play in front of all of those empty seats.

The Game Summary just updated from 6-6 (shots on goal) to 11-6 Sens. Did they really get 5 on the PP?

Who the hell is "Carey Leighton"? I swear, that's what I *though* he's been saying. That guy's almost as bad as Neale.

Oh, crap.
