I'm very happy with this trade. Yes, London mortgaged a huge chunk of their future to acquire a couple of guys who will only be around for about 4 more months, but that is sort of the nature of junior hockey.
Personnel wise the Knights did not give up much. Christian Thomas was their first round selection last year so that one may hurt in a year or two, but I know little about Valentine, and Zador by all accounts has not come close to matching the hype around him when he was drafted by the Knights.
The draft picks on the other hand may come back to bite them. That is a lot of future prospects not entering the system in the next 2-4 years. But London has done a reasonably good job of acquiring guys through other means to remain competitive (ie Pat Kane).
