In Ruutu's defence, he claims Peters stuck his fingers in his mouth, which he in fact did. How could Ruutu not bite his fingers when they were jammed in his mouth? Maybe players should watch where they stick their fingers.

I don't really care to defend a guy like Rutuu when he goes too far, but in all honesty, I saw the replays and I didn't see anything that looked liked a bite. I'm not saying he didn't do it, but I saw nothing that confirms Peter's claim.

Peters didn't make too good of a case since he ended up in the box. There is some doubt as too what exactly happened. Very little, but doubt nonetheless.

They should take a page from the OHL and ban head shots. These "legal" head shots that made some players careers should be eliminated.
