Don Sanderson Passes Away as a Result of a Hockey Fight

21 year old defenseman with the Whitby Dunlops and a student at York University has been in a coma since December 12, a result of head trauma suffered in a fight. Very sad. His helmet came off during the fight and his head struck the ice when both players went down.

That's awful... My heart goes out to his friends and family. Christ, he was just a kid...

I expect the anti-fighting folks to start drumming up inquiries any day now.
