Vermette, Fisher, and Gerber+ 2nd Rd, Pick - for- Horton, Jay Bo, and Craig Anderson?

I don't think you realize just how one-sided that deal is. That is basically all of our current garbage plus a 2nd pick fot Florida's 3 best players!

I think it must be Christmas. because only a Christmas miracle is making that deal happen. Anderson is probably the best backup in the league (except for Gerber of course bahahaha) and could be a starter right now.

Gerber going to Florida actually makes our package less valuable.

Don't forget to add David Booth.

Otherwise there'd still be some reason for anyone to bother showing up to Florida games.

How about Fisher and Vermette for Crosby and Malkin, heck we'll even throw in a 1st rounder to sweeten the pot(SJ's of course)

Is Luongo still there to grab too? Is this a sick joke or
something? It would be tough to get them to accept that trade for a
draft pick considering you would be handcuffing them with horrible
contracts

Not enough coming our way. We don't want to take Pittsburgh's terrible contracts off them without some kind of compensation.

Crosby and Malkin might produce slightly more than Vermette and Fisher, but their contracts are far worse and they're less experienced in the play-offs. Take out SJs first rounder, add a second from Pittsburgh and then we'll talk.
