Dear Sens,

You have not addressed our need for a puck-moving defenceman

You have a combined $7 million in two players whose offensive production occurs usually in 25-30 games each season, thus preventing us from having consistent secondary scoring.

You have potentially lost out on a franchise player in not taking the picks from Tampa for Meszaros.

You only consistently show up to play against the Pittsburgh Penguins (albeit not in the playoffs last season), although that is satisfying.

You are not as entertaining to watch as in years past.

You signed another defensive defenceman when it was the least of our needs.

You are still apparently maintaining the delusion that the team is a contender.
