If Vermette doesn't get a point with Alfie on hsi line, his case is lost.

I wouldnt go that far, haha, but the guys who are usually with Alfi, they tend to produce, its been like that his entire career.

And if Fisher doesn't get a point, it will be on Vermette also.

As usual, Vermette gets an "opportunity" with two strikes against him.

Strike one: on the wing

Strike two: on a line with Fisher

And I'm here still wondering why FIsher is the center on that line, not Vermette.

Im seriously interested to see what Spezza does tonight. Centering those two will not be an easy task in terms of producing or actually playing a passive game.

Hopefully Auld can pick up his play from a few weeks ago.

It's the draws, but it's also Vermette's awful shot from the wings.

Meh, thats one aspect of the game and when you're in the offensive zone, for the most part, there are no positions when you have control of the puck.

Nevertheless, there will be some opportunities, like on 3 on 2s, where Fisher could try his blaster on a backup goalie.

Mike Fisher is very good at screwing up 3 on 2s by using his blaster from a bad angle. Ironic, isn't it?

I think thw whole team is playing like that at the moment.

If we don't see a lot of net drive and fiesty play. We could be in for a long road trip followed by a big shakeup.

I'm just going to go ahead and pencil us in for a long road trip in that case.

Net drive and feistiness just isn't in the playbook.

Dah well, tonight I think you actually may see a hard working game for the most part. I like the line combo's right now, they may or may not work but its good to see them trying somehting different and trying to mix up the chemistry, because right now the team has none.

Spezza on a personal level better hope his line produces while the others struggle, because he could very well get barried there for a long stretch if that happens.

The Sens have a good chance at winning this game, question is, do we want them to? Every win is just the difference between a top 5 pick or 14th overall.

And while I understand why Spezza's moved down the depth chart, the question is, why if you plan on trying to move him? The less value you place on a player, the less other teams do.
