So did not letting TB make an offer-sheet for Meszaros.

I mean, Kuba and Picard have both debatably been better than Mez, and the pick is nice too, but it's like Pittsburgh coming up to us and saying they desperately want Foligno and will offer either Staal or Malkin for him, and we choose Staal. We still won the trade, but not as much as we could have.

I gotta disagree with this. I'll still cheer for this team because the Sens are my team. It sucks to watch them lose the way they do, esp when they should be ALOT better than they are... but nevertheless they are still my team, and I'll take the beating that comes with cheering for them right now.

Kane's good, but again I've heard some poor things about his attitude.

If top of the draft is un-available, I'd like to try to get Ellis (an Ellis - Karlsson PP tandem would be disgusting) or Schenn for the media frenzy/Pierre McGuire insanity that would result from the Battle of Ontario Schenn v. Schenn mash-up.

Plus Schenn is a monster.



He's struggled a bit this year after a great WHL rookie season, so he's ranked around #10. I hope the Leafs don't get him.

it's fully possible that the 15th team in the West will finish better than the 9th team in the East Razz

Yeah, hopefully he's OK with the announcers just calling him MSP.

Because, if he becomes the pseudo-Forsberg in Ovechkin's body he's capable of, his name will be called by the announcers many, many times.
