I like the idea. With Donovan on the wing, these guys should be flying. Its one thing that they don't score but they better be moving their feet. I say they each get one tonight.

I 2nd that Vandelay. With Donovan's skills along the boards, and he's also shown he can fly when he wants to, and Fisher banging away at the D, this should create room for Vermette, who hopefully will regain his scoring touch.

Now, with Fisher and Vermette being changed, does that leave Ruutu -Kelly -Winchester on line 3?

and our 4th is what?

Zubov - Bass - Foligno is our 4th Cronie :D

I don't recall reading anything about Zubov being recalled.... Am I wrong? Bass is our only recall at the moment, no?

I've been assuming that Schubert will be on that 4th line, but I hope I'm wrong.

If they don't score, we'll lose.

Bass is the only one up atm.

Might go back down if Neil plays.

While I'll admit I was pretty dim after the 3rd loss to NYI, I'm still optomistic about this team. Call me the eternal optomist but I find the situation encouraging. It would be one thing if our best players were playing like our best players and we were still 4 points out of the playoffs but that's not the case. In my mind we have 5 legitimate top 6 forwards in the big three and vermette and fisher. None of these players are producing the way they should and can. I'm not saying we've got a cup contending team but I'm not saying we don't. At this point, the jury is still out. The downside of course is that there are only 82 games in a season and they need to start putting some wins together sooner than later. The upside is, I believe they're only going to get better from here. This is a frustrated team but once things start clicking and they're firing on all cylinders, the conversations on this forum could be very different.
