The most interesting part of the story to me was that he was engaged to get married. Finally, the kid is settling down and maturing; hopefully, it translates onto the ice as well.

Looking at the prices, can you imaging what she is making in commisions? (even 2% x $$$$$$ = $$$$)

Marilyn Wilson is "The" agent in Ottawa if you are looking for a house 1 million or more.

I know her husband personally (Dr. Allen Wilson) and I've met her several times. Anyways, it is not unusual for Marilyn to remove the house immediately after it's sold. It's nothing special to Jason, but more of a way she does business. Oh and her commission is not less than the standar 5%.

I was more thinking a 4% (many have dropped to 4% now), split between two agents. She wasn't the sole agent on the Spezza house, so she would have split the commission, but still, it's a nice sum.
