It sounds like Fisher is going to be playing on the 4th line with Donovan and Ruutu....strange.

Perhaps Hartsburg is just easing Fisher back into the line up with limited minutes to start. Just to make sure he's not pushing himself too hard coming back from injury.

This guy has dirty play written all over him.

Are they playing him with Hollweg? If so, i'd really think about it.. Imagine if they still had Tucker? Could of been the All-Dirt Line...

Yeah, oops... I posted this in another thread, but this Deveux guy has me slightly concerned, to say the least.

we have NO Grats (who is useless anyway), no Neil, and Fisher would take him on but could very well end up injuring himself...AGAIN, so unless Murray calls up Carkner or Yablonski, this guy could "Mark Bell" one or more of our guys tonight...

If we replace McAmmond (cold) with Schubert it would provide some deterrent. But based on stats this guy has some skill so who knows, perhaps Wilson isn't trying to make a statement at all.

Holy Dung balls!!! I've been in TO for the last couple days and just catching up with things. This is incredible news.

That he's playing or that he's playing on the 4th line?

Don't read anything into it. First, Fisher's coming off of injury, and it's standard practice to limit a guy's ice time and ease him back into the game. Second, given our bottom six, any line that has Fisher on it is at least the 3rd line (and not the 4th). Ruutu-McAmmond-Donovan was our 3rd line last game, and if McAmmond is indeed out today (there are conflicting reports on this coming from Sportsnet and the Sun), then he's just moving into McAmmond's spot on the 3rd line. That leaves Foligno, Bass, and Schubert for the 4th line.

This is not punishment or a demotion for Fisher, or anything of the sort. It's just that that Kelly-Vermette-Winchester line is working well. Anyone notice how just about any line with Winchester on it works well...?

I love Winchester. This kid is going to be a 50 point scorer for us next year.
