That's really too bad. I was watching what was a super fast game at that point - and Kostopolous didn't do this to hurt him. It's unfortunate for all parties - Van Ryan's injured obviously - and Kosto will be suspended a couple of game.

And a concussion. That wasn't reported earlier. Boo.

I find injury reporting has gone downhill. My favorite favorite injury link is full og lower and upper body injury assessments and day-to-day estimates. And quite a few don't seem to show up until 2-3 days later. Didn't the NHL come out with a policy last year (or the year before) for better disclosure?

They actually came out with a policy for non-disclosure. Teams can be as vague as they want now with injuries.

They don't care though Wprager. They've even come out and said as much. The NFL HAS to give injuries to their full extent because of the hundred million + world that is gameday gambling. The NHL can only hope that one day they become a million + gameday gambling sport. That's the sad reality of it.
