Mark Parrish making his Dallas debut scored a hat trick... wow... for a guy that signed a league minimum, two way deal. Anyone could have had him, mind you the results may vary. This is the second player to make his regular season debut for the Stars this season and score a hat trick (Brunnstrom). Congrats to Mark, way to make an impression. Hope he can keep it up.

Whats with guys having crazy debuts with the Stars? Last year it was Brad Richards who like 5 assists if I remember correctly, then Brunnstrom, and now Parrish. Something in the water?

Yeah, add Brad to that list. But he's a proven star player. Dallas has the potential to be a top team, as they showed last year. I was pulling for them to win the cup (of course after all my other teams had been eliminated). Morrow is one of my favorite's.

The honeymoon will be over soon. Parrish is a 40-point player. This doesn't change anything.

Still, good for him, I guess.

The funny thing is, he could've easily had 5. He missed a couple of glorious opportunties. Funny how these things work. I'm inclined to agree, he's still a 50 point guy, but what a neat beginning to a season where nobody wanted you.

But still a 40-50 point guy for league minimum is a pretty good deal for Dallas.

Two guys with debut hat tricks. When was the last time that happened?
