My pool needs some decent goaltending. Leclaire and Bryzgalov aren't cutting it.

Could the mailman be black?? :Ddirtydirtynorth wrote:mattshock wrote:Is that 160 Kane guy Pats brother?
I don't think so. Evander Kane is born in Vancouver, while Patrick Kane is born in Buffalo. There is that, and there is also the fact that Evander Kane is black.
MSP should be slotted either right before or right after Tavares.asq2 wrote:Man, Kuchin has really fallen.
IMO Ellis and Lander could be higher.

Every time I see Tavares in person, I'm less and less impressed. He may have an excellent shot, but he is a lowsy skater, and his work ethic leaves much to be desired.asq2 wrote:Tukker wrote:MSP should be slotted either right before or right after Tavares.asq2 wrote:Man, Kuchin has really fallen.

No, I can see Cowen going ahead of him. He's a bigger Luke Schenn. And as much as we all love to hate on Tavares, he should go top-2.
Duchene shouldn't though IMO.
Also, PKC, MSP is almost purely Swedish by my recollection and I'm not sure Crosby is the best comparison.
If you want to talk good Finnish players though, there are a number of them coming up including Toni Rajala in this draft and Teemu Pulkkinen in the next.

I believe he has Finnish family if he isn't Finnish, no?

Sounds like Jason Spezza to me.

I just think potential-wise, it's hard not to take him 2nd.
MSP might be my favourite player in the draft, too (definitely after Hedman).

That's pretty harsh. Spezza has been working a lot harder and has improved his skating ten-fold since even two or three years ago. He's a bigger body, so naturally he isn't as fast as a St. Louis. But don't underestimate him, he can get around pretty quick.
