Am I a blissfully ignorant anti-feminist?

Seriously. Am I way out to lunch or is this woman off base? A coworker's brother walks up to that coworker's office, then turns to the receptionist and asks where he is to the receptionist. Since I saw and I was only a few feet away I responded. The receptionist storms in after suggesting that it was insulting and degrading and he was talking to her and that women have voices.

What the hell? Am I seriously in the wrong? I thought I was being helpful but maybe I am as she suggests?

I mean maybe there was more to the story, maybe there are some other dynamics at the office or maybe the way he asked her that make her feel that way?

This was anger directed at me for being degrading to women. Bright side is it was her last day and I won't see her again.

That receptionist is a moron. I wouldn't worry about that.
