GDT - Game #47: Flames @ Sens, Jan 26, 2017, 7:30pm

Canadian teams are sitting 1-2-3 in the Atlantic. Who could have predicted that back in October? The Leafs won again last night and remain just 2 points back. Calgary is coming to town on a 4 game losing streak but sitting just 1 point out of a playoff spot. Expect them to play hard.

Condon expected to start as the Sens won't play again until next Tuesday. Bailey was sent back down so Hoffman will be playing. Wingels should also play. Neil or Lazar will be scratched.

Time to destroy the Shames.

Remains to be seen if Hoffman even plays tonight.

Poor Dave Cameron can't be enjoying his tenure as assistant coach for the Flames right now.

Maybe we put the final nail in Glen Gulutzan's casket tonight.

Gonna be a tough one, but Boucher's shown he can get them ready. 6-1 Sens, Ryan with all 6 goals.

Neil out. Lazar in. 4th line is Kelly-Lazar-Wingels. That's going to be an interesting line to watch.

His on the radio said they had no idea at the end of practice, and Boucher didn't tip out off, either. He was still waiting to see if Hoffman would be good playing. Sounded like they wanted to leave it to a game time decision

Long term, yes, Neil should be the one sitting. But I honestly thought Lazar deserved or more based on expectations versus what he has delivered.

But maybe this is saying "Ok, kid, we are sitting a guy with 1000 hand who bleeds red black and gold so you can play, don't $@&+ it up."

Young team, new coach. I doubt he gets fired. If it's more of the same next year then maybe.

I saw SpezD said Anaheim won the Ryan trade? Um, what? Silfverberg and Ritchie is not a good haul for Ryan any way you slice it
