Well, we got outplayed by Toronto and won, so now we've outplayed Montreal for the most part and are losing...these things balance out in the long run.

Dzingel having a fine evening. Beauty feed to Pyatt there.

wideman having a pretty good night. a better night if Boro was in position more often. he looks way too slow out there

Crazy game. Feels like we might be saying that a lot this season.

Nice job of Matrix holding us in there. Big time shootout goals by Turris and EK.

I can't believe how much we dominated the first half of that game vs the end of the 2nd and the 3rd - just nuts. Nice to get 2 points, perhaps lucky when the chips were down.

What were we doing on that 5 on 3?

Refs were terrible early on. Stone gets clipped and Methot hours the guy in retaliation and gets an interference call. His got was just as late as Pacioretty on Wideman. And nothing for the trip on Stone. Then Shaw chops Varone's stick out of his hands, he bends down to pick it up and What trips over it. There was no intent to trip but certainly an intent to chop. Later Shaw tried to slew foot Pyatt near the boards at center ice. Phaneuf's interference was weak as well, although he probably did try to fall in Gallagher's direction. Pacioretty practically ran Anderson.

Sure the Sens probably did not deserve the 5-3 and they played like they didn't think they deserved it, either.

Positives:
- 2 points
- kept up with the Habs speed wise
- shots under 30 and outshot then handily
- another comeback (they know they can)

Failing miserably as usual?

They spent so much time practicing the 5 on 4 they didn't have time yet for the 5 on 3.

I wonder if Puempel has seen enough of Dzingel to understand what is required of him. He's should get in the lineup tomorrow or Tuesday.

Also I hope when Chabot draws in they take out Boro and not Wideman. Boro has not really impressed and I don't want two lefties on the bottom pairing.

Wideman had a solid game. with a decent partner i think he would be even better if he doesnt have to try and cover boroès mistakes and slowness

Went to the game, too many Habs fans for my liking but always nice to shut them up.

Borowiecki can't keep up with the speed. He's gonna get murdered by all the new skill in the NHL this year and it already showed in the first 2 games of the season. I hope Chabot grows faster than expected but when I see all the mistakes Ceci is making out there in the defensive zone maybe it's better if we stay patient.

Now with the positives: 3rd line looks great with Dzingel in there. Doesn't fazed by the NHL. Crazy to think our best players from that draft are 3rd and 7th rounders and most of the rest have all been traded.

Oh... and faceoffs!!

Ceci played a fantastic game. I'm not sure what you were seeing. He played 25 minutes so obviously the coach liked what he brought.

Boro has been fine the first two games IMO. He was better than wideman and Phaneuf in game one. Sure he's slow but he's doing his simple job fine. I'd rather have Chabot but boro isn't going to be the cause of winning or losing.

I liked Boro that game as well.   Team played amazing until the third where you could feel the tides turning.

I don't like Ceci's poise. Yeah he can play well but it shows he's been rushed. Makes a few careless passes every game and last night I can count 2 instances where it directly ended up with the Habs cycling in our zone for at least 1 minute.

What dman doesn't make careless passes?
