I think he's the Director of Hockey Ops for the NHL right now. I imagine not for much longer, given the disdain shown by him for various players and teams in some of these emails. Darren Dreger seems to call him out in some, whereas Bobby Mac just sucks his wang.

Really interesting stuff.

I don't understand why these need to be shown. I wouldn't spect y, work emails to go public either. I love Campbell's honesty

This is far from unprecedented. Emails can become "public record" like this. If you find anything enjoyable about the way Campbe!l represents himself and the NHL, you're looking at it purely from an entertainment perspective. Look at the way Bettman phrases things compared to Campbell. One is a savvy business professional and the other is a dumb thug who never grew up.

Didn't bettman get a shinny new extention? This would be the perfect issue that could see the end of the bettman/Campbell reign over the NHL. Is slightly embarrassing their lack of wanting to find A resolve around it.
This happened, now move on to find some sort of compensation for players affected. And yes it might mean the end of a lot of fighting in the NHL.

What I'm getting out of viewing all the emails is that it's actually exposing the work emails of so many NHL executives. Now we should do exactly what tsn guys do, just email GMs directly to get the scoop. So who wants to try their hand at bmurray@ottawasenators.com?

I was thinking that too. I bet Colin Campbell is changing his email. He'll get a million hits after this.

Yeah, I found it odd the email addresses/phone numbers weren't blacked out. But that's not the takeaway here..but nobody on Twitter or in the media seems to care.
