Cameron has done adjustments but we can do it.

Ceci is wow bad.

But we are way better, I'm super confident.

Not a huge surprise with Ceci. Good news is Montreal basically got away that one and just barely too.

good first game for a very inexperienced team. Ceci had a rough night. They were strong on the forecheck. Our D needs to transition quicker. Thought Lazar was one of our better forwards. We'll be better in game 2. I liked our second half of the first other than that, we kindu let them set the tempo.

They were sloppy. Whole team was nervous including Hammond.

Hopefully they settle down for Game 2. But I think we all knew a split was gonna happen.

I bet Neil draws back in. Especially if Stone is hurt.

Ceci and Wiercioch got exposed hard by their grinders. Even Karlsson looks tired.

WE need to put Cowen and Neil in.
Montreal generated absolutely nothing offensively.
We should win this series.

Put Cowen in and he will be exposed too because Ceci is the real problem on that pairing. Let's get wideman in there before it's too late. Please.

Apparently Cameron is getting chippy himself:

Dave Cameron: "I think it's an easy solution: You either suspend him or one of their best players gets slashed and just give us five."

Anyone know where the post game pressers will show up first?

I thought they changed the rule so now even if it is a follow-through, it is still possible to be high sticking.

Even if it's a follow-through from an illegal high stick? His stick was 8 feet in the air.

Cameron is gonna get fined for that one

I'm still not confident in Hammond. I knew his game had its flaws but I think the one that is showing is when it's a one on one. He doesn't anticipate all that well.

Lots of series left to play. Sens in 5.

Bobby Ryan should not be playing. He's bringing his line down.

Love Cameron's response. Couldn't agree more. Didn't get hear any response from Subban but you just know he's gonna say something along the lines of "you never wanna see a guy get hurt, I was just doing my job, going for stick on stick" but that's complete bs...that was a baseball swing to the wrists. I don't see how that isn't as bed as a head-hunting hit.

Something tells me Stone is going to either miss a couple of games or be very ineffective for a while.

You gotta stick with Hammond. He gave them a chance to win. That's all you can ask of him.

That's how I see it too.

I still don't know what happened with the high stick to Pageau. Was there a call that got overturned? I didn't see any refs hands going up myself.
