This was my entire line of thinking..."they have decent goaltending for once".

You are also the only one who has Toronto *in*.

Philly also made it last year while only playing about 2/3 of the season. They were a for-sure-lottery-team after 25 games.

Surprised Detroit got *any*. They barely made it in last year and their leading scorer missed camp and may retire. Their core are getting older. Patty Eaves is gone.

Ya, I'd wager money Detroit doesn't make the playoffs with their current roster.

after the Flyers start last year, I'm still confident in them. Pittsburgh stinks as far as goals against

So will we have the pool standings posted after every 10 games (go by Sens schedule)?

I will post some updated standings around the end of each month. I will go by a standings snapshot even though there will be slight discrepancies because of games played.

yes but in my eyes they're not necessarily in a better spot now and other teams in their division got better.

That's pretty much it. If they fall behind like last year don't expect them to come storming back. The teams that are struggling right now have significant injuries, which likely means they'll imrove as the season progresses. Caps, Isles, Devils are off to hot starts and Pittsburgh looks very strong.
