For sure Ceci's up here. And I agree on Havlat -- way past his expiration date, want nothing to do with that guy.

Havlat will be cheap and could pay off. If not, then no big deal.

Apparently Pittsburgh is after him as well. I think if the money and term is okay, he signs in Ottawa.

He's a good 30-point guy. He'd be a big upgrade on a guy like Condra, IMO.

3 year, $9M deal most likely. It allows Ottawa to move someone like Hoffman up or down the lineup.

Maybe pack him up in a trade? He's basically NHL ready, it's just unclear if he'll be a quality top 6er or not at this point.

I think given the chance to play top-six minutes we'll all be pleasantly surprised. He produced pretty well on 5 minutes a night....

There's no room for him, Murray said the team needs four forwards.

Kind of hard to say right now. It'll be a good sign if he dominates at the development camp. From there, he has to survive the camp in September, and then he has to make the case that the team should keep him past game 9. By all accounts, he's pretty mature, but he is only 19 years old.

I want to say yes, but we won't have a sense of how he stacks up with other prospects in the organization and actual NHLers for a while. Sure looks to me like a kid who has done it all at the level he's currently playing in, tho'.
