Sounds right. So it'll probably be the opposite.

They really do deserve a W, but Niemi will have to steal it for them. You know Quick is going to be on top of his game.

Exactly. The Kings know how to win, the Sharks don't, gonna be really tough.

Or, if you're like me, you just man-up, ditch your other responsibilities, and watch them live.

I've got BellFibe (now); I'm also recording a couple of sitcoms (Suburgatory and Modern Family) -- not sure if they are reruns. Should be doable. Can't watch all of it live because I have to pick my son up from work at 9. Oh, well.

Has your kid not heard of the bus? Jesus, you coddle your children. Don't let your lazy kid get in the way of you being lazy and watching hockey! WHO RUNS YOUR HOUSEHOLD, W.P. RAGER?

By the way, Niemi is confirmed as the starter.

The West is a meat grinder and good teams go out in the first round...it's just a fact. If the Hawks went out against the Blues, no one would be panicking in Chicago...it'd just be a "yeah, Dung happens" scenario.
Well the Hawks have won 2 Cups in very recent memory, and after a long Cup run, short summer, compressed schedule and sending nearly half your team to the Olympics I think they would have gotten A LOT of rope. Situation with the Blues is a little different.
Blues are young and have a big window of opportunity. They lost against arguably the best team in the NHL. No reason to change much of anything.
