We play like that against 90% of the East we don't lose a lot of games in the remaining 30+

A lot to like for sure. Frustrating ending though.

Frustrating now, doesn't matter if we make the playoffs.
One month ago, we were 8 pts out, now we're 1. Toronto is playing like Dung and they're sending their 2 best forwards to Russia in a month.

Still can't stand Philips. I don't think it's a coincidence we have some trouble from time to time getting out of the zone when he's playing.

I actually said out loud, "What the f*ck is Michalek doing out on the ice?!?" when I first saw him. Facepalm

I still can't believe that he didn't give EK his stick. The Sens are pinned in their own zone in OT and EK basically swaps out for 9MM.  Facepalm

Good game though. That was a lot of fun to watch. Turris's shot was sick. Mac owned sh*t. EK was in PP beast mode.

Hate to lose a lead. Especially after getting back from 0-2. Spezza was not good, but I don't think he was bad as a third line center. Timing was off.

Don't think you can be disappointed with last nights game, they played well for the most part and Spezza started to show some signs of being able create some things with Stone which is important going forward.  Fact is they dominated most of that game and hit 300 posts, came away with a point, and just had short lapses that cost them.  They play like that most nights and they will make the playoffs.

Thought Stone was solid again, great vision out there and he's pushing guys to be better which is what they needed. Fact is him and Ceci are making the Sens just a smidge better and that's what they needed.

That's 1 of 2 points and if people said before this started (like myself) that 3 of 6 points on this swing would be good enough then this game should be a positive in most ways.  Good effort, good game, just gotta tidy a few things up, win on Saturday then play with no pressure Monday.

Props to LoloJack for the excellent website recommendation.

I didn't watch the game, so I have nothing to add...other than Spezza was -1. Heeheehee.

If we played well for the most part, and it sounds like we did, that's the important thing. Hopefully PMac doesn't shuffle the lines.

Yah that (-) wasn't on Spezza but w/e, still is what it is. Thought he improved as the game went on and the PP was just flat out better with him out there. If that's the role he's going to play beside Stone then he will be fine and will be able to contribute and grow into the captains role. Important to note him and Stone did look like they are going to click and that's going to be the most important thing going forward.

Assuming Stone stays with the big club, and PMac keeps them together.

Don't think Stone is going anywhere at this point. He's looked as good as you can expect the last 2 games and he has chemistry with Spezza which God knows isn't exactly easy to find.

Went to bed after the 1st as I was not feeling well. Saw the OT loss on the ticker this morning and though, well, take the point. Then I checked the box score to see we had the lead late in the 3rd. Too bad. Sounds like the team had a good game in general. Going down 2-0 early and then coming back like is good. That rough start really made it hard on the team. Next up is the Preds. Gotta take that game.

And we finally scored on a 5-on-3. Nice.

Also, Turris is a damn beast, anyone who says this guy isn't a #1 center in the NHL needs to clue in to what a #1 center is.

That OT goal was odd... Barrie was all alone in front. Sweet pass by Stastny tho. Bah.

Michalek had no idea what to do out there 4 on 4. MacLean always puts guys who are struggling in a position to break out or get some confidence going but sometimes it backfires, last night it backfired. Just no way they resign Michalek after this year and he's just going to play out the string so hopefully they can get the last bit of NHL hockey he has left in him.

Also, another nice game from Kassian... guy is playing a somewhat regular shift and not hurting the team which you have to be happy with.

Pageaus NHL days are numbered for now. I doubt they send stone back at this point.
