I can't see any way Giordano leaves Calgary. He's under contract until 15/16 at a cool $4M cap hit.

Yeah, but it's the refs who have to take care of something like that, plus you're punching your ticket towards a 20+ game suspension if you attack someone who isn't willing to go. I dunno man...I think if Torts had iced his normal starting 5, none of this would have happened.

I'm sure Hartley argued that he iced those 5 for energy to start the game. I'm actually surprised he got fined, but I'm pleased he did because he can be a real arsehole.
