Leafs stay alive, force a game 6 back at the ACC... Kings eliminate the Blues... Wings avoid elimination, tie the series 3-3 with the Ducks... Caps win to go up 3-2 on the Rags.

Man I hope all series go 7 games... Ottawa will have an instant advantage no matter who wins.

Only one game on the sched today... Pens @ Isles... Game 6... 7:00pm... Pens lead series 3-2... GO ISLES!!!

All all series go to Game 7, that will take Round 1 to Tuesday.

Last of Game 7s scheduled for Monday. Round 2 could *start* Tuesday, so long as the teams that match up finish Sunday or earlier. For example, if Pittsburgh wins tonight or tomorrow, the Sens@Pens series could begin as early as Tuesday, and the other one in the East could start Wednesday. But if Pittsburgh loses it and Washington doesn't win tomorrow, then we would have to wait until Monday to know whom we are playing; in that case, if Washington loses G7 and the Boston series is over in 6, we could still play Boston on Tuesday; but if the Boston series goes to 7 it would be Wednesday at the earliest.

Then, of course, there's the West to consider but I'm already getting a headache.

2-1 Islanders as McDonald buries a rebound on an almost odd-man rush.

And they take the lead into the dressing room at the end of 20.

Islanders doubling up the Penguins 21-9 on the shot clock and 2-1 on the scoreboard. If they had good goaltending earlier they probably would have been playing for the series win, and Vokoun would have been playing in his 3rd game.

And just as I type that, it's 2-2.

Carkner looks terrible out there.
