Van up 3-2! San Jose was sitting back...
GM Hockey
Yep. I stayed up and then went to bed as soon as Marleau scored. Crazy. Changes coming in Van for sure. Last year's early exit and now this...Michallica wrote:

MAF is terrible. they can't even trade the guy.

The only thing we should ask for any potential round 2 matchup is Spezza back in the lineup.
I think i'd rather play the rangers out of all those. i could say toronto but no way they make the second round.wprager wrote:Flo The Action wrote:if the isles can manage to take pitts out that will be the story of the first round. we'd face the isles after right?

The only way we could ever face the Islanders is if both teams won the first two rounds. We cannot face them in the 2nd round. It's un-possible
It's a bit complicated. I think this works:
1. Pens win: play Pittsburgh (we would be lowest seed with Islanders gone, Pens would be highest)
2. Pens lose, Caps win, Bruins win: play Boston
3. Pens lose, Caps win, Bruins lose: play Toronto
4. Pens lose, Caps lose: play Rangers

What are the scenarios if Montreal stages a comeback?
