Yeah pretty much. I don't get the hate on Kadri on this board. I wish Sens players had more guts to say the stuff he does because we are lacking serious cockiness in our dressing room and everytime we lose the fans call it acceptable because our guys are "NICE"

The Leafs looked pretty...weak. Also, Reimer wasn't great. Who took Redden in their playoff pool?

The Isles aren't a joke, but Pittsburgh made them look like an AHL team. I'll be surprised if Pittsburgh loses more than 4 four games to Eastern Conference teams this playoffs. They didn't have their best player, and they won 5-0. Neal was injured though, maybe that'll slow 'em down a bit.

1 game away from winning a cup is not a Playoff team? That's pretty high standards tongue

That was one year. What did they do the following year? The won one game.

They did as good as the rest of the NHL against LA and their second line was injured

Alright, so what would you call the Canucks? I'll admit that they are a good team, but their management has failed them big time. They should have traded one of their goalies long ago to put them over the hump. And now their window is closing.

I agree that ppl overreacted on kadri and what he said. That said, I don't want our players doing it. Why? Simply because of our luck and history. See Alfie predicting we'd win the cup, melnyk predicting we'd win game 7 against toronto in 2004. I don't want cockiness, but I do want exuberant amount of confidence.

You pump your team and you pump the other team. Saying something is "very, very winnable" was downright stupid. Karlsson "P.K Subban is great, love the way he plays". Subban "Karlsson is great, love the way he plays". Kadri "the Bruins are very, very beatbale".

Just say "we have confidence in our group and if we play our game we should be able to come out on top". That's it.

Why? Karlsson plays the game the way Kadri speaks. Like most Swedes, they let their actions do the talking. When did Lindstrom ever come out and say this crap? When did Crosby ever come out and say something along those lines?

There confidence and then there's Kardi who IMO isn't confident but just likes to come off like he is. He has proven nothing other than he had a good 40 or so games in the NHL at this point and she been seen and not heard. Wishing any team had guys like Kadri speaking off is just wanting drama.

Saying a Series is winnable is crap? Facepalm
The only problem with Kadri is he didn't backup what he said with his play.

EDIT: DId he say winnable or Very very winnable? Because that's not the same AT ALL. If it's the latter, I agree it's too much

And I don't want Karlsson to say something like that obviously, doesn't mean we can't have players who get on the fence once in a while.

Why phrase it like that though? This is a very, very winnable series? BS. Say that you respect the Bs, but you think you can play them as hard as anyone. Say that you respect the way they play the game, but we're not gonna be pushovers. Use your head, don't give them another reason to come out pumped up. I mean...they came out on a mission last night. Sure, the Leafs scored the first goal, but that was literally the end of that - and I assure you that the Bs didn't need the extra motivation and I also am sure the Leafs didn't need them to be extra motivated.

Youthful enthusiasm and limited vocabulary?

One of those is bang on. I'll let you decide which one. Ahhhhh!

So...I'll guess one game suspension for Ference for elbowing Grabovski in the head last night.

Bad play = suspension.

There's a hearing today in the afternoon.

The important thing here is that Toronto lost.

He said VERY VERY winnable.

Two very's.

Remove those, and it's fine.

Yeah I expect 1 game. Will be surprised but not surprised if it's just a fine.

Playoffs.

New rules.

But that one was a pure elbow to the head.

Yeah, there's no room for that. And there's also no room for him being a complete and utter asswipe in the post game media scrums, smiling a Dung eating smile and saying I don't know what you're talking about. You don't? You will in about an hour.

There isn't a biggest as*hole in the NHL than Andrew Ference, both on and off the ice, he's a piece of trash and if he does get a game or two he will probably cry to a tree in his backyard. I would say Pronger but he's in a dark room because he can't see light anymore which is probably too good for him.

Ference should get a game but it doesn't matter, Hamilton will come in and play hard.
