Embellishment by Henrique, but that's an unacceptable move by Anderson. WTF???
I woudl definitely embelish it too if I were Henrique, because plays like that cannot go unnoticed.

There was a lot of action going on in front of the net during that play. I think Anderson got ticked off. I'm good with it.

Anytime you have a 3rd or a 4th rounder playing in the NHL it's a great draft pick. JGP is showing exactly why everyone in the organization talked this guy up and some even went as far as saying he will be better than Couturier (long way to go to prove that).

If that's the case, just shows you how great the Sens scouting staff truly is. They pick NHLers from every single round somehow, even the ones that don't turn out contribute to Bingo in some fashion.

I honestly don't know what to think. There was another angle where it looked like he got him so people are all up in arms wondering if there is going to be a suspension or at least a fine. Maybe his grip on the stick was off, or in the wrong pace, so he needed to do that to adjust?

But I really doubt that.

Haha, Anderson for sure did it on purpose but AH was flopping all over the ice it's hard to take anything that happened to him on that shift serious. It was embarassing simply put. Anderson MIGHT get a fine and even that's a stretch.

If he had hit him in the stomach I could see him getting away with it, but the stick -- whether it made contact or not shouldn't matter -- was right at eye-level. I really don't care if he is suspended, though, because it wouldn't be more than 1 game anyway, and I'm OK with Lehner going up against the suddenly struggling Bruins.

OK, so what is the cut off point for games played to be on the leaderboard? Lehner has 11 games. The lowest number of games I see is 13 for Labarbera. I assume there has to be at least one goalie with exactly 12, so 13 is the cutoff? What is it, 1/3 of your team's total games played?

Michal Neuvirth has played 12 and is on the board. Same for Anton Khudobin.

What? Imagine if that guy was Chris Neil without a visor. Let's not be homers here, there is NO justifiable excuse to try doing that. It's dangerous, plain and simple.

That was generous, that was. He could have easily beat Brodeur (right, SSF?), but he gives it to a guy that can probably use the confidence boost. That's our captain. Cheering

You nailed it!!!

Yup, everyone would be up in arms just like Crosby's "elbow" on Foligno last year Laugh1

He barely touched him and AH didn't so much dive as he died on the ice. Sure, The One shouldn't have done it, but the embellishment makes it seem much worse than it was, IMO. Shrug

On that butt-end I don't think he touched him at all. You can see, in slo-mo how the business end of the stick moves very smoothly -- there is no moment where it stops suddenly or changes speed or direction; the only way I can think of doing that is to waive it around without touching anything.

Also, the butt end came closest to the side of the helmet, and Henrique looks like he is grabbing at his visor.

Anderson should not have done it, still.

It hit him for sure. It was a tap, but it hit him.
