That's not how he scored the goals. I watched Tampa games early and drives the net hard and if there's a lose puck he was the first one on it. Scored a lot of his goals this year just like that. You made an assumption without watching him for a second outside of Ottawa games.

I didn't say anything about goals just that he played C for Stamkos.

Apparently his production has dropped off ever since he got taken off Stamkos' line(no surprise).

Ha. You're being SSF, but having a 2B line is a recipe for success, IMO. Having a 3rd line that has potent scoring like that is huge.

He just said he was a fan of Alfie and Spezza when he was younger.

Sounds like he's a fighter. I'm getting more and more pleased with this deal. When Steff G first said Conacher's name (when they still hadn't posted the return), I thought he was crazy. This is a good trade for both clubs, IMO.

Imagine if we were 100% healthy? Next year is going to be ridiculous. Watch BM this summer.

Right now that's a 3rd line and we had a 3rd line before this trade. So we added a 3rd liner to a team already full of 3rd and 4th liners. This could work out but the team is not much better right now.

It's thr Detroit Redwings... they roll 3 lines who could score and one that was hell to play against.
