I would say Turris is but he's not ready to be the best forward on the ice and be dealt with accordingly by the opposition.

I don't think Turris will ever be a 1LC -- doesn't have the size. I'm OK with him as our 2LC but, frankly, if we draft another top-six C I'd be fine with Turris on the wing.

That's not what I meant by our vets stepping up.

Season high single-period shots on goal for the Devils. Great. So much for Karlsson being poor defensively.

to be fair the one was a weak holding call and the other was a scrum after the whistle were the refs just took a player from each team
